Trade and investments of German companies in Angola and Mozambique are still expanding. For this reason, the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy has commissioned the Chambers of Commerce Abroad in South Africa and Portugal to conduct a study in order to analyse decision criteria for market entry and investment decisions in the two countries. On this basis, recommendations were developed as to how further support for German companies can be provided through market entry measures. Reason enough for us to take a closer look at the lusophone African countries, which had already distinguished themselves a few years ago through investment interest in the German economy.
The guests from the AHKn in Portugal, Angola, Mozambique and South Africa will present the findings of the latest study on German economic involvement in Angola and Mozambique, and then explain how market entry can be successful. Company representatives with experience in lusophone Africa will also have their say. In addition, some light will be shed on the special initiative “Training & Employment of the BMZ” with the aim of deriving opportunities for entrepreneurial activities.
After the lecture there will be the opportunity to exchange ideas with the experts and participants in an informal setting.
africon Partner Ms Sonja Mattfeld will be there during the conference, Please don’t hestiate to contact her if you have any questions.
